Casual postnatal Pilates classes.
Postnatal equipment Pilates classes are the perfect way to get back into exercise post birth bringing bub with you in tow. These classes focus on re-strengthening the pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles, as well as encouraging gentle opening and stretching away aches and pains from long hours of holding bub and feeding.
Designed by accredited Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists these classes are an incredibly safe way to get back into exercise and provide individualised exercises to your stage of postpartum. Check in with your health provider as these classes may be claimable on your private health.
We recommend waiting until you have had the all clear from your health professional before commencing exercise (normally between 6 - 12 weeks). We can work with their recommendations to help keep you safe - using the equipment allows the ability to change resistance making classes gentle but effective.
Our Brisbane Southside Postnatal Pilates classes are run out of the beautiful Pilates space of Articulate Physiotherapy at Tarragindi and now at our stunning Coorparoo home.
