Held here at Nascent Wellness Coorparoo and at our beautiful partner studio Articulate Physiotherapy Tarragindi our Prenatal Reformer Pilates courses are perfect for building strength and assisting in general mobility throughout pregnancy. Run over 8 weeks our team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and Cert IV qualified Pilates teachers will give individualized exercises to each student.
With a strong focus on alignment Pilates is incredibly safe during pregnancy helps to increase body awareness and strength, improve posture and range of motion as well as increasing overall fitness. Over your 8 week course you'll focus on
Strengthening and relaxing pelvic floor muscles
Relieving postural discomfort during pregnancy
Maintaining abdominal strength
Preparation for labour with strengthening and endurance
Our Pregnancy Pilates Course is recommended for pregnant women from 12 weeks all the way up to 40 weeks. Using the Pilates equipment allows the ability to change resistance making classes gentle but effective and completely tailored to you.
