Our Prenatal Yoga hosted in the beautiful studio of Stretch Yoga Holland Park on Brisbane's southside provides a blissful way to prepare the body and mind for birth in a safe and inclusive environment.
Beginners are completely welcome! No previous yoga experience required. We recommend waiting until the second trimester to commence classes, and are happy for you to practice all the way up until 40+ weeks as long as you feel comfortable! If you're unable to complete the course, we'll try our best to find postnatal offerings to slot you into once you're ready to come back to exercise.

We recommend prenatal yoga for anyone past their first trimester of pregnancy all the way up to birth (13 - 40 weeks +). There is absolutely no yoga experience required to take part in these courses!
What to expect in our Pregnancy Yoga Course:
We use lots of props in our pregnancy yoga course to help support the body and accommodate for injuries, aches and pains. All of our prenatal classes accommodate multiple levels. If you have any concerns about not being able to do certain movements or poses we are more than happy to modify. We can also speak with your care provider (physio, osteo, chiro, ex phys) in order to help modify your practice in our intimate small group classes.

- Breathing, visualisations, intention setting and mantras for use through labour, pregnancy and birth
- Stretches and movement to relieve aches and pains associated with pregnancy
- Building strength through movement especially in areas useful for an active labour
- Meditation and relaxation exercises to reduce anxiety and prepare for a calm birth
- Connection with other mamas to build your tribe
